US Kids Teen World Championship ~
Pinehurst, NC July 24-26, 2014

Two Chesapeake Bay Golf Club junior golfers, Austin Barbin, Age 13 and Zachary Barbin, Age 15 competed in the US Kids Teen World Championship in Pinehurst, North Carolina last weekend. The event was host to more than 550 players ages 13-18 from 35 countries. The US Kids World Championship / Teen World Championship is the largest junior golf event in the world.

Austin Barbin competed in the Boys 13 Age group at Pinehurst No. 9 which played around 6,300 yds. He finished 25^th out of a field of 146 shooting 78/76/70 with the highlight being his final round of 2 under par.

Zachary Barbin competed in the competitive Boys 15-18 Age group at Pinehurst No. 8 from 7,000 yds. Zach finished 57^th out of a field of 140 shooting 80/83/79. A highlight was his chip in for eagle on Hole #17 during his second round.
