Zach Barbin Captures 50th Pro-Am for Wishes Championship

Zach wins three shot victory

WEST CHESTER, PA, August 3, 2026 — Chesapeake Bay Golf Club PGA of America Golf Professional Zach Barbin delivered a standout performance to win the prestigious 50th Pro-Am for Wishes, carding rounds of 68-66—134 (-8) to claim a commanding three-shot victory over Anthony Sebastianelli, PGA, of Whitford Golf Club.

Barbin sealed the championship with a brilliant final-round 6-under-par 66, highlighted by six birdies and a steady, mistake-free approach that proved to be the difference.

“Today I was trying to make no bogeys—that was my goal,” said Barbin. “That’s been my strategy for the last three tournaments, and I played really well.”

The Pro-Am for Wishes is one of the region’s premier professional golf events. Established in 1976 at Whitford Country Club, the tournament has been held annually at Penn Oaks Golf Club since 2008 (with the exception of 2020) and benefits Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware & Susquehanna Valley. Since moving to Penn Oaks, the event has raised more than $700,000 to help grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

Following his victory, Barbin expressed heartfelt gratitude to those who have supported him throughout his journey.

“First and foremost, I want to thank Jesus Christ,” Barbin said. “I’m also incredibly grateful for the unwavering support of my parents, my brothers, my wife, Olivia, and WSFS Bank.”

Congratulations to Zach Barbin on an outstanding victory – his 7th professional win – and another impressive achievement representing Chesapeake Bay Golf Club. His dedication, consistency, and championship performance continue to reflect the excellence of the club’s PGA Professional staff.
