Chesapeake Bay Golf Club Golfers Making Headlines This June

Chesapeake Bay Golf Club has dominated the local golf headlines this June. Here’s a quick recap of Team Chesapeake’s summer so far:
- 🥇 June 3rd: Zach Barbin shoots 7-under to win the 38th Burlington Classic, his second career professional victory
- 🥇 June 9th: Austin Barbin dominates the 103rd Maryland Amateur, winning the final 7&6 after being 19-under through the event.
- 🥉 June 12th: Zach Barbin shoots 70, takes third at the Coatesville Pro Am.
- 🥇 June 15th: Austin Barbin takes the 124th BMW Philadelphia Amateur, winning in historic fashion with a 20-under performance and a 9&7 route in the final match.
- 🔥 June 17th: Zach Barbin shoots 68 for an 11th place finish at the Conestoga Classic.
- 🔥 June 18th: Andrew Barbin Jr and Evan Barbin shoot 65 and take 4th at a loaded field at the Radnor Golf Foundation Pro-Am.
- 🥇 June 18th: Arlene Zamora claims her second career DWGA Delaware Amateur title, winning by three strokes!
- 🥈 June 19th: Noah Wallace makes a great run at the Philadelphia Junior Amateur, finishing in 2nd place.
- 🔥 June 22nd: Zach Barbin shoots 68-68-69 for a 9-under 54 hole total and finishes 6th in the New Hampshire Open in a field featuring Korn Ferry and Canadian Tour players.
- 🥇 June 26th: Noah Wallace shoots 68-69-71 for a 2-under total to win the 100th Maryland Junior Amateur by seven strokes over a loaded field.
- 🥉 June 26th: Zach Barbin shoots 64-69-69 for an 8-under finish and third place at the Maine Open, also fielding several Korn Ferry and Canadian Tour golfers.
- 🥇 June 26th: Evan Barbin shoots 69-71-69-66 for a 13-under victory at the 73rd Delaware Amateur, featuring a final nine of 31 to claim his first state title.

- 3 Men’s State Amateur Titles
- 1 Junior State Amateur Title
- 1 Ladies State Amateur Title
Austin and Evan Barbin have earned exemptions to the U.S. Amateur Championship at Hazeltine in August for their state championship wins.
Zach Barbin is ranked second in the Philadelphia PGA Section in “Player of the Year” points, and second in Scoring Average (68.33).
Noah Wallace has made a statement that he is the best junior golfer in the area.
Arlene Zamora adds to her incredible legacy.
