Philly Junior PGA Championship – Boys 13-15
Chesapeake Bay Golf Club junior golfer Austin Barbin fires a final round of Even Par (72) to capture the win in the Boys 13-15 Age Division at the Philly Junior PGA Championship 36 Hole sectional qualifier at Whitford Country Club in Exton, PA on Monday, July 11, 2016.
The overall winner was Kyle Vance of Audubon, PA who qualified for the 41st Junior PGA Championship – a stepping-stone for many of today’s PGA and LPGA Tour professionals, as well as current collegiate stars. Past Junior PGA Championship competitors who have gone on to successful professional careers on tour include: Inbee Park, Luke Guthrie, Trevor Immelman, Cristie Kerr, Justin Leonard, Hunter Mahan, Phil Mickelson, Grace Park, Dottie Pepper, Jordan Spieth, Lexi Thompson, David Toms, Michelle Wie and Tiger Woods.
