Evan Barbin finishes tied for 7th at AJGA

RISING SUN, MD – May 5, 2019 – Chesapeake Bay Golf Club hosted the AJGA Preview at Chesapeake Bay May 3-5, 2019. Three first-time players earn national junior golf victories – Bryan Lee of Fairfax, VA, Angelina Tolentino of Mount Laurel, NJ, and Rita Liu (China) North Patomac, MD.

The 36 hole stroke play event featured 78 junior golfers from 15 states and three countries – with Maryland and Pennsylvania being the top two states represented.

Rising Sun High School junior, Caleb Taylor of Woodbine, Maryland, earned his best career AJGA finish in two starts T-2 with a 7-over par 149.

Chesapeake Bay Golf Club junior golfer Evan Barbin (age 15) finished T-7 with (76-74=150). The highlight of his tournament was his hole out eagle on the Par 5 Hole #6. Evan is a freshman at Red Lion Christian Academy in Bear, Delaware and a member of the varsity golf team.
