Philly PGA Assistants’ Organization “Player of the Year” Honors

TELFORD, PA, October 20, 2025 — PGA of America Golf Professional Zach Barbin of Chesapeake Bay Golf Club was named the Philadelphia Assistants’ Organization 2025 “Player of the Year” at the Philadelphia PGA Section’s 2025 Fall Membership Meeting at Indian Valley Country Club.

Zach was also recognized for his season-long scoring average of 68.73 over fifteen rounds, of which thirteen rounds were at par or better, including his season best 7-under par 65. Zach finished in 3^rd place out of 253 section professionals in the 2025 DeBaufre Low Scoring Average standings.

PGA of America Golf Professional Austin Barbin of Chesapeake Bay Golf Club took second place honors on the Philadelphia Assistants’ Organization 2025 Player of the Year season long points list. Rounding out a great year, Austin also finished in 5^th place out of 253 section professionals with a season-long scoring average of 69.82 over eleven rounds, of which eight rounds were par or better, with a low round of 5-under par 67.
