Evan Barbin Qualifies for 125th U.S. Amateur

IJAMSVILLE, MARYLAND, July 17, 2025 – Evan Barbin of Chesapeake Bay Golf Club qualifies to play in the 125th U.S. Amateur Championship to be held at The Olympic Club in San Francisco, CA August 11-17, 2025.

The Club at P.B. Dye was host to the 125th U.S. Amateur Final Qualifying tournament. Evan shot a 3-under par 67 to clinch one of five spots advancing to the national championship.

The U.S. Amateur Championship is the oldest and most prestigious national championship and is considered the pinnacle for amateur golfers in the United States.

This will be Evan’s second time playing in this illustrious event — he competed in the 124th U.S. Amateur Championship at Hazeltine last year highlighted by his second round 4-under par 66.
