Zach Barbin Finishes 2nd in Philadelphia PGA TPD Championship

MOUNT LAUREL TOWNSHIP, NJ – April 22, 2024 – PGA Assistant Golf Professional Zach Barbin of Chesapeake Bay Golf Club finishes in 2nd place out of a field of 127 professional golfers in the 2024 Philadelphia PGA Players Division Championship at Laurel Creek Country Club.

The format was a Modified Stableford with points awarded as follows: Double Bogey or higher -1 point, Bogey 0 points, Par 1 point, Birdie 3 points, Eagle 6 points, and Double Eagle 9 points. Zach shot a 3-under par 68 with 27 Stableford Points. He had a clean 4 under 32 on the front 9 with 2 birdies and a clutch eagle on Hole #5 to capture 18 Stableford points on the front nine alone.

This was the PGA Section’s first professional tournament of the year.
