NE Hole 8

NE Hole #8 “Beaver Junction”. Our signature hole. This is a risk reward tee shot which makes this hole great for match play. The green is surrounded by 500 rail road ties with a waste bunker 8′ deep. The player with the honor must decide to go for the green for a chance for eagle and easy birdie or lay up and play a difficult wedge shot to the green for a birdie. Whoever wins this hole has the advantage going into hole #9, a hole everyone must play very conservatively. For captain choice “scramble” formats the team with a long ball hitter definitely has the advantage here.
