We are back once again with our highly successful PGA Junior League! This goes until Mid-August. Hurry! There’s still time to sign up!

Our highly successful 13U PGA Junior League is back for another exciting season! We welcome all juniors of all skill levels, whether they are a superstar in the making or a beginner looking to get into the game. Our coaches are dedicated to developing our juniors and getting them ready for competition.

Juniors will be under the tutelage of an All-Star cast of coaches, from multiple-time professional event winner and multiple-time State Amateur Champion Zach Barbin, 2024 Maryland and Philadelphia Amateur Champion Austin Barbin, and 2024 Delaware Amateur Champion Evan Barbin as well as decorated head professional Andrew Barbin Jr.

This program is listed for May-August, but junior golfers that are members of the team will be eligible to play in all of junior tournament series events all year long at the member price.

• SUN JUNE 21^st: Practice 3pm-5pm
• SUN JUNE 28^th: Open Practice 3pm-5pm (Club Championship, no instruction)
• SUN JULY 5^th: 4pm Home Match vs Wyncote 4pm – 6:30pm
• SUN JULY 12^th: Away Match @ Kennett Square 4pm – 6:30pm
• SUN JULY 19^th: Home Match vs Hartefeld 4pm – 6:30pm
• SUN JULY 26^th: Away Match @ Hartefeld 3:30pm – 6pm
• SUN AUGUST 2^nd: Away Match @ Wyncote 3:30pm – 6pm
• SUN AUGUST 9^th: Season Finale – Junior Tournament Series
• SUN AUGUST 16^th: Practice 3pm-5pm
• SUN AUGUST 23^rd: Practice 3pm-5pm
• SUN AUGUST 30^th: Practice 3pm-5pm

Here is what the junior league entails:

• Weekly Practices: Professional staff-led practices.
• Open Practice Days: Team members will have “open practice days” at 6pm on Mondays and Fridays where they can practice on the range and/or play a few holes (as long as there is availability) to work on their games on their own time.
• Skill Level: The league is excellent for both newer golfers and experienced golfers alike.  The level of instruction provided will be easily the highest out of any junior league in our division and will greatly benefit all junior golfers of all levels.
• Format: The format of junior league matches is two-player scramble match play against the other team, with every 3 holes being its own individual match for 1 point (matches are 9 holes so 3 possible points per match).  There are 4 pairs in a regulation match, so we need at least 8 players per squad.  If we have more than 8, pairings can have 3 kids that rotate every three holes.  This format is great for introducing kids to competitive golf, while also showcasing the skills of our best golfers as they make a bid for the All-Star team.  We had two All-Stars and an All-Star reserve last year who made it very far!  This year we ought to have a few!
